Anxiety & Panic - Depression - Relationships

“I believe that a great deal of the mental distress and anxiety we feel as women can be alleviated with boundary setting.”

I’m Lauren Kratman, and I help women like you.

About Me

I’ve been in the mental health field for 8 years working primarily with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

I work best with young women who are experiencing trouble finding freedom from anxiety and depression.

In today’s world we are constantly bombarded with social media where everyone is an expert… an expert nutritionist, therapist, personal trainer. You name it, you can find it on Instagram. We’re told what we should look like, dress like, how we should work and how to exercise.

While the internet can be a useful tool and can connect us to family and friends for many of us now, work. Here’s the thing with the internet…. everyone online isn’t a professional.

Counseling Style

My approach to counseling is supportive and welcoming with a dash of a “no nonsense”. I strive to be my most authentic self in session and hope you will feel comfortable to be your most authentic self.

My therapeutic style is eclectic. This means I draw from multiple theoretical orientations and use skills and techniques from each.

While I provide a supportive experience for you, I do not simply ask “how does that make you feel” and shake my head. I believe for change to take place you have to be encouraged, supported and sometimes, gently pushed in the direction of growth.

I am dedicated to helping people become their healthiest and most confident self.

My training in anxiety and depression means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing your relationship with yourself, decreasing anxiety and increasing your satisfaction in life. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a woman struggling with anxiety and trying to navigate life, right?

I get it because I’ve devoted my career to helping women manage improve their lives. I know that sometimes you just want to quit, to let the anxiety control you. So when we work together, you don’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
